This policy explains what data TangYi Studio Co., Ltd. （瑭宜網路多媒體有限公司） collects on tangyi.mx and its subdomains, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and what you can do about it. We have tried to be specific — if we do not do something, we do not list it.

2. What we collect
(a) Information you give us
When you sign in with Google: your email address, name, and Google profile picture URL. We request only these basic fields. We do not read your Gmail, Drive, or contacts.
Member profile: display name, phone, LINE ID, company, notes. All optional.
Booking or enquiry forms: name, email, preferred date, description of your needs, budget range.
Orders: purchaser name, email, items, and amount.
(b) Information generated when you use features
AI assistant conversations: messages you type into the chat widget (or the /ai-chat page) are sent to an AI model provider to generate a reply. These conversations are NOT stored in our database — they exist only in your browser tab and disappear on refresh. We cannot retrieve them afterwards.
Member point and tier changes.
(c) What we do NOT collect
Credit card or payment data — this site does not yet process payments.
Your geographic location.
Your browsing activity on other websites.
AI assistant conversation history — as noted above, we do not keep it.
3. Why we collect it
To provide what you asked for: sign-in, member features, the AI assistant, bookings and orders.
To contact you: replying to enquiries, notifying you about bookings.
To keep the service running and secure.
To improve our content (see section 6 for how).
4. How long we keep it
AI-generated images: AI generation on this site is currently used only in our own back office (to produce artwork for articles and pages) and is not open to visitors. Those images are deleted automatically 30 days after creation by a scheduled job.
Member accounts and profiles: kept until you ask us to delete them.
Booking and order records: kept as required by Taiwanese accounting law, then deleted.
You may request account deletion at any time; we will complete it and reply within 30 days.
5. Who else handles your data
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising.
The following providers process some data because they operate parts of the service:
Base44 — hosting for this website and its database. Your account data and content are stored on their cloud infrastructure.
Google — sign-in authentication.
AI model providers — when you use the AI assistant, your message is sent to a model provider to generate a reply. Please do not enter national ID numbers, financial account details, or client confidential information.
Gmail — used to send booking notification emails.
Embedded YouTube videos and Instagram posts are loaded directly by Google and Meta and set their own cookies. That is outside our control and governed by their respective privacy policies.
6. Cookies and tracking
We want to be explicit here, because our approach differs from most sites.
This site does not use Google Analytics, advertising trackers, or remarketing pixels.
On-site page statistics are stored only in your own browser localStorage and are never sent to any server — they reset on a different device.
We use sessionStorage for a temporary identifier that disappears when you close the tab.
Sign-in state is stored in browser storage so you stay logged in across refreshes.
The exception is the embedded YouTube and Instagram content mentioned above, which sets third-party cookies. You may block third-party cookies in your browser without affecting the rest of this site.
7. Your rights
Under Taiwan's Personal Data Protection Act you may request to:
access or review your personal data
obtain a copy
correct or supplement it
stop its collection, processing or use
delete it
To exercise these rights, email [email protected]. We may ask you to write from the address you registered with, so we can confirm it is you. We reply within 30 days.
You may also simply withhold data — apart from the email address required to sign in, every profile field is optional.
8. Minors
This service is not directed at people under 18.
If you are under 18, please use it with the consent of a legal guardian. If we find an account belonging to a minor without consent, we will delete it and the associated data.
Some content (for example, an alcohol-related owned-media brand) is intended for adults only.
9. Where data is stored
Our cloud providers may store data on servers outside Taiwan. By using this service you understand and agree to this cross-border transfer.
10. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the "Last updated" date above. For significant changes — such as collecting a new category of data — we will post a notice on the site.
